Why gold filled?

Gold filled is the next good thing than solid gold, but with a fraction of the price. A thick layer of gold is heat-pressured bonded to the base metal (in our case, it is a mix of sterling silver and copper). Gold filled has 100 times more gold alloy than gold plated. It is tarnish resistant and hypoallergenic!

Does gold filled tarnish?

Gold filled is tarnish resistant but it might need some extra love and care to last even longer. Avoid scratches & direct contact with lotion, perfumes and clean spray. Put in the jewelry pouch while not wearing.

Can I wear gold filled jewelry to shower?

YES! Just pat it dry with your towel afterwards and you are good to go! BUT remove your jewelry before swimming, as the chemicals might cause damage to the jewelry.

How come there is a brown spot on my 14k gold filled jewelry?

Most of the accentt jewelry are soldered to reinforce the durability. During the process of soldering, the base metal might get exposed and result in a brown spot. This can be easily cleaned with a polishing cloth.

Will the gold filled rings ever turn my fingers green?

NO! BUT everyone reacts to metals differently due to the body PH levels. Some people may have the body chemistry that reacts to gold and oxidize the jewelry, which leaves the green residue on the fingers.
